Instructions:
1. Use a carpet brush
To clean dirt, dust, andhair from your carpet using a carpet brush. Just brush with an average force and make sure that all the pollutants have been removed completely from your carpet.
2. Vinegar is a good thing to use
Take a bucket of warm water and mix ¼ cup white vinegar with it. Dip a brush to that warm water mixture and scrub your carpet using the brush. Keep scrubbing the entire carpet until you’re satisfied with it. Fill the bucket with fresh water and use a rag to clean the carpet again with fresh water. When you’re done with both vinegar mixture and freshwater cleaning, let it dry properly.
3. Clean the area rugs:
Take 1 cup vinegar, 2 cups of water, 1 cup salt, 2 teaspoons of essential oil, and mix them in a bowl. Vacuum the rug to clean all the loose dirt. Before starting, apply the solution on the corner of the rug to test colorfastness, if the color doesn’t fade go ahead with your process.
Dip a brush into the mixture and start scrubbing the rug. Let the solution sit on the rug for at least 15 minutes. In the meantime, clean the bowl and put fresh water to rinse the rug using a towel or any soft cloth. Let the rug dry in the sunlight. Allow both of the parts to be dried. Once it has dried properly use a brush or vacuum cleaner if possible, to loosen up the carpet fibers of the rug.

In a spray bottle, mix ¼ cup dishwashing liquid with 1 cup hot water. Spray the liquid solution on a soft cloth and dab the cloth on the spot. As the stain dissolves blot with a clean part of the cloth. Keep doing it until the stain vanishes. Spray another cloth with cold water and use it to remove the detergent solution from the carpet.
Place a paper towel to make the area dry and put a heavy pot or something on it. Overnight the towel will soak up any stain deep in the carpet.
7. Removing coffee stains from carpet
At first, try to blot up as much of the coffee as you can. Mix 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and 2 cups of warm water. Apply a little of the mixture on the stain. You can use a clean white cloth or sponge to apply the mixture. Then blot frequently with a dry cloth until the stain removes. Use cold water to remove the soap mixture and blot dry.
